My vision is clear: a bag should not be a temporary item, but an investment.
A companion you carry for years, that gets more beautiful with time and builds a story you take with you.

In a world full of fast fashion, Deanog chooses tranquility, attention, and sustainability.
For designs that are beautiful today, but will still suit who you are in ten or fifteen years.

Deanog designs are characterized by soft, graphic lines, minimalist shapes and subtle details that you only notice when you look closely.

My recognizable signature — two lines converging into a soft point — runs through the collection as a subtle accent.
No flashy logos, but a visual language that speaks for itself.

I believe that true elegance comes from conscious choices:
form, line, technique, and respect for the material.

Handcrafted in the Netherlands, from materials built to last generations

All Deanog pieces are handmade in my studio.
Deliberately in small batches, with care at every stage of the process.

I work exclusively with:

  • Full-grain Italian cowhide leather with a matte semi-aniline finish
  • Natural materials that live and age with character
  • Traditional techniques such as turned edges
  • Tone-on-tone finishing for a sophisticated look
  • Beige pigskin or suedette lining for a soft, luxurious interior

This type of leather develops a soft patina over the years — a sign of quality, not wear and tear.

The creator behind every design

I'm Emma, the designer and maker of Deanog.

My love for leather began at a young age, during a part-time job at a cobbler's. There, I discovered the power of materials that become more beautiful with the life you put into them.

I've always had a soft spot for quality, beautifully made products.
Pieces that are designed with care, that exude tranquility and that you can enjoy for years.

My background:

  • Education in Traditional Bag & Shoe Making — SintLucas, Boxtel
  • Education in Design & Concept Development — Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam

Every Deanog piece comes from my hands.
From the first sketch to the last stitch:
